Mike Barry and Deane Price Promoted at Legal Software Company Aderant

ATLANTA – Apr. 3, 2014 – Aderant, the world’s largest independent legal software company, announced today the promotions of two members of the executive team. Senior vice president of research and development, Mike Barry, has been appointed to executive vice president of strategy and product. Deane Price, senior vice president and chief financial officer for Aderant, now assumes the role of chief operating officer. The promotions, effective immediately, are a response to internal growth at Aderant as well as an expanding client base, underscoring the company’s long-standing commitment to the legal industry and client satisfaction.

Under Barry’s leadership, Aderant has added four product lines, as well as expanded its market offerings to provide solutions for small and mid-sized law firms. Since 2012, Aderant has hired more than 50 new research and development team members. Barry’s continued guidance over product development and product management reflects the company’s dedication to providing innovative and reliable software solutions and will enable the further expansion of new product offerings to meet the emerging needs of law and professional services firms worldwide.

Since 2012, Aderant has hired 60 people in client support, training, and professional services. As chief operating officer, Price will oversee Aderant’s growth and resources in the professional services, client support, and training departments. Her new role focuses on expanding company operations and client relations, areas in which she has extensive experience.
