Chief Client Officer

Josiah has been with Aderant since 2014, dedicated to providing clients with exceptional service and satisfaction across all aspects of the business. He plays a key role in helping clients leverage Aderant’s solutions to optimize their operations and achieve their business goals, guided by both the existing product suite and an ambitious product vision.

Previously, Josiah served as General Manager of Business of Law Solutions and Senior Director of Expert Sierra, where he led Aderant’s first true SaaS solution. His contributions have been instrumental in shaping and executing Aderant’s cloud strategy.

Before joining Aderant, Josiah built a sales operations organization at EthosEnergy, where he developed sales processes, systems, and integrations. He also spearheaded a startup co-working concept, Roam Atlanta.

Josiah holds a BS in Psychology from Liberty University and a Six Sigma Black Belt Certification. He and his wife, Sarah, have two children, Christian and Romie. Originally from Vermont, don’t expect to find him on the slopes—he moved to Atlanta to escape the frigid northeastern winters. In fact, you might even hear him complain when the forecast calls for highs in the 50s.

Chief Financial Officer

Kevin is a seasoned financial executive with over 15 years of experience spanning investment banking, corporate FP&A, and finance leadership. As CFO, Kevin is responsible for driving Aderant’s financial strategy, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring we have the financial agility to invest in innovation and scale globally.

Prior to joining Aderant, Kevin held finance leadership roles at PowerPlan and IPA, both part of Roper Technologies. Earlier in his career, he worked in corporate FP&A at MedAssets, a public healthcare software company, and began his professional journey at Croft & Bender, a boutique investment bank.

An Atlanta native, Kevin holds a business degree from Emory University. He lives in Brookhaven with his wife and their three rescue dogs, two Dobermans and a Rottweiler.

Chief Revenue Officer

Aisling Fenelon is a senior sales leader with more than 25 years of experience in the legal technology industry and over a decade at Aderant. She began her tenure at Aderant as a member of the Business Development team, later leading the function, before being appointed Vice President of Sales, North America, where she led regional sales strategy and revenue execution across Aderant’s solutions.

Aisling holds a Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Vanderbilt University. She lives in Nashville with her very large, very loud Irish family.

Chief People Officer

Shira is a passionate people advocate, with extensive experience leading people teams and talent strategy. Looking at everything we do and how we grow through a people-centric lens and an open, inclusive culture philosohpy.

Prior to joining Aderant, Shira was in HR leadership roles in the software/technology space in global, leading companies in the private and public sectors. She led Talent/People strategies across the Product, Technology, Sales, and Professional Services divisions. Her experience includes over 11 years with NCR corporation and close to 4 years with Finastra LTD.

Shira’s mission is to create an inclusive work environment where everyone feels they belong, can grow, and develop their skills while driving business growth.

Senior Vice President, Product Management and AI

Lisa is a visionary product leader with more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Since joining Aderant in 2023 as VP of Product Management for Cloud Transformation & AI, she has played a pivotal role in driving our cloud transformation and AI innovation, helping to launch and expand key initiatives like Stridyn and MADDI.

With a strong foundation in technology and business strategy, Lisa brings a unique blend of deep product insight and forward-thinking leadership. Her ability to align innovation with client needs has been instrumental in shaping Aderant’s roadmap and delivering solutions that empower law firms.

In her role as SVP, Product Management and AI, Lisa leads our efforts to deliver best-in-class, AI-powered solutions that drive efficiency, insight, and value for our clients worldwide.

Lisa holds a degree from Arizona State University, executive education from Stanford Graduate School of Business, and, most recently, earned her MBA from MIT.

Senior Vice President, Global Marketing & Communications

Jessica leads Aderant’s overall marketing strategy and manages the global marketing team. She is Pragmatic Marketing certified and holds a Bachelor of Science in International Affairs with a minor in Business and Communications from Florida State University.

Joining Aderant in 2020, she brought over ten years of experience in B2B software marketing; Jessica was previously responsible for driving demand across digital marketing channels, branding, and social media efforts.

As Aderant’s Vice President of Global Marketing, she is now responsible for developing and executing the company’s marketing strategy as our cloud/SaaS business continues to grow. Jessica’s vision for her team is to set a new standard for the quality and effectiveness of Marketing efforts to drive the business forward.

Jessica lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband, daughter, and active German Shepherd, Hank, who enjoys making cameos on WFH calls.

Vice President of Finance & Administration

Karen brings more than thirty years of experience in accounting and finance to Aderant. Having held senior management positions within privately owned software companies and international technology corporations, coupled with a Big 4 public accounting firm background, she possesses a wealth of expertise and industry knowledge. Karen served as Global Controller at Aderant beginning in 2012 and oversaw financial maintenance, operations, and compliance as the company progressed from private equity to public ownership. Her vision, initiative, and analytical acumen ensured a seamless transition and audit in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Prior to Aderant, Karen worked as Director of Finance for Ventyx, an ABB company; Controller at New Energy Associates, a division of Siemens; and as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Karen graduated with honors distinction from Auburn University with a BS in Business Administration and holds a Certified Public Accountant License.

Karen loves hot chocolate, Hallmark movies, and her annual beach trip. Outside of rooting for her Auburn Tigers, a ‘must’ for her free time includes spending time with her grandchildren.

Vice President, Global Support

Having joined Aderant in 2018, Samantha leads the company’s global support organization.  She is responsible for executing on an exceptional customer experience and does so through creating strategy, aligning resources, and driving the company’s vision through detailed planning and organization. Samantha is a senior executive with 20+ years of experience leading technology and software companies to scale and grow. 

Prior to joining Aderant, Samantha was SVP of Operations at Mobile Aspects and was responsible for leading daily operations, product management, customer success, and company strategy. She also spent 20 years with Four Rivers Software Systems, an Accruent Company. Samantha held numerous senior leadership positions such as SVP of Products and Services and Vice President of Healthcare.

Samantha studied Business Management at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, PA.

While customer care is always top of mind for Samantha, her downtime often includes time with her husband and three sons whom she can barely stop from eating her out of house and home!
