McAngus Goudelock & Courie chooses legal software Aderant Expert to support recent exponential growth.

ATLANTA – September 2, 2015 – Aderant, the world’s largest independent legal software company, announced today that law firm McAngus Goudelock & Courie (MGC) has selected Aderant Expert as its new practice and financial management system. A leader in the insurance defense market, MGC chose to partner with Aderant due to the legal software company’s strong reputation for providing top quality customer support and focus on helping firms take a more metrics-centered approach to managing their firm.

Providing services for the niche insurance defense space, MGC has experienced exponential growth in recent years, likely due to the firm’s unique and innovative metrics-driven business model. Taking an “if you can measure it, you can improve it” approach, MGC not only collects critical firm, client and matter data, but effectively uses the information to more efficiently serve clients. As MGC began to grow, however, they were forced to push their former system beyond capacity. Concluding that the existing system would be unable to support their level of growth, the firm began reviewing solutions to assist with its transition to the large law segment. After an extensive three-year evaluation process, MGC determined that Aderant Expert was the best fit to meet their specific needs.

With Aderant Expert, MGC will be able to more easily manage general ledger mapping across multiple offices and streamline many firm processes with Aderant’s robust integration capabilities.
