Available to users of the company’s Handshake legal knowledge management software, Designer enables clients to efficiently create dynamic versions of their intranets, extranets, and all other relevant mediums. Aderant has rebuilt the feature as a web application accessible from any modern browser, providing each user with an experience tailored to meet their individual needs.

The introduction of the improved Designer empowers users to take productivity to an entirely new level with added capabilities focused on increasing accessibility and efficiency through customization. A full-view content preview heightens user visibility while the versioning platform allows users to build, publish, and revert changes within various pre-built test environments, saving time and effort for developers who previously had to manually create each test page. Continuing the effort to speed up the development process for Handshake users, the Designer feature now offers a category of skins and templates that users can quickly surface and reuse as prebuilt components. A template editor enables developers to edit and configure Kendo templates from the front-end without an in-depth understanding of the involved data sets, and an improved skin editor, both JavaScript and CSS aware, allows users to leverage script libraries, edit those scripts, and save them all within the application.
