Aderant Announces Major Software Upgrade with Expert 8.2

Law firm agility, and managing and acting on client guidelines highlight latest version of the number one practice management solution among the AmLaw 200.

ATLANTA – July 10, 2018 – Today Aderant announced the release of the latest version of its flagship product Expert, the number one practice management solution among the AmLaw 200. The Expert 8.2 release focuses on financial innovation and the agile professional. Outside counsel guidelines and the ability to manage and act on client rules, from data capture to billing to collections, are seamlessly incorporated into the platform. An enhanced user experience as well as upgrades to multiple modules support Aderant Expert’s enablement of law firm efficiency and increased profitability.

Financial innovation is a key objective as law firms seek to address manual steps that can be streamlined and automated with application features, wizards, and embedded workflows. Expert 8.2’s development focused on automation, workflow, auditability and mobility. New modules in the release include Accounts Payable and Disbursements with additional enhancements to streamline the WIP to cash process.

The proliferation of mobile devices in the workforce has created demand for technology that supports agility. Aderant’s mobile strategy continues to center on enabling the agile professional by creating easy-to-use applications for tasks with minimal data entry that can be done on tablets and other mobile devices inside and outside the office environment. Expert 8.2 offers a new mobile application that consolidates contextually relevant information that a timekeeper needs at their disposal, regardless of location or time of day. Additional enhancements to the Expert modules EA Pro, On-The-Go Time, MatterWorks, Expert Case, and Inquiries further support the agile professional initiative.
