Melbourne, Australia, was the stage for Momentum Melbourne 2025, where Aderant convened clients and partners July 22–23 to explore the future of legal technology. With the theme “Cultivating Community, Inspiring Innovation,” the conference spotlighted how Aderant is shaping the next era of legal tech through product advancements and forward-looking strategies. Attendees from across the Asia-Pacific region left with exclusive insights designed to help firms thrive in an evolving legal landscape.
Highlights of Melbourne Momentum Sessions
Chris Cartrett, President and CEO of Aderant, kicked off the conference by sharing his vision of “Unmatched Client Experience”, a philosophy which is permeating every facet of the company’s product and service delivery. In addition, Andy Hoyt, Aderant’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO), presented a powerful talk empowering clients to “Unleash the Power of Sierra”, Aderant’s leading cloud-based practice/financial management solution. Their rollout has already improved time entry habits and reduced leakage—and they’re now looking ahead to unlocking even more value through features like Assisted Time Narrative.
Firm of the Year: Piper Alderman has been a valued Aderant client for over 20 years. Most recently, they embarked on a major transformation, transitioning from Classic to our Framework and Native Cloud applications. Over the past 2 years, their team has shown outstanding commitment, successfully rolling out Entity Manager, Conflicts, General Ledger, Billing, and Accounts Payable. The firm’s impressive journey has been marked by vision, collaboration, and execution.
Better Together: Wynn Williams went live on Aderant Expert last year, becoming the first to successfully migrate from InfinityLaw. Since then, they’ve worked hand-in-hand with us to continually enhance their implementation, always looking for ways to get the most out of the platform.
