Price brings more than 25 years of executive management experience to Aderant. She has an extensive background in software company operations, professional services, and research and development leadership.
Before joining Aderant, Price served as Chief Financial Officer of Ventyx Inc, the world’s largest provider of software to the energy and utilities industry. She was responsible for all back office functions. Price integrated six acquisitions and established a highly effective team covering accounting, tax, finance, legal, human resources, facilities, and information technology. Price was also a key member of the transaction team culminating in a transaction valued at over $1 billion to sell Ventyx to ABB.
Price joined Ventyx via its acquisition of NewEnergy Associates, LLC from Siemens. Price was the President and CEO of NewEnergy and a founding principal of the company. NewEnergy provided planning and operational software and associated services to the energy industry. Prior to becoming the President and CEO, Price was the Chief Operating Officer and held many positions of increasing responsibility covering all areas of product consulting, software development, and back office operations.
Price holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia’s Program for Superior Students.
Executive Vice President
Cartrett is responsible for both Strategy and Growth at Aderant. He has worked in the legal industry for more than 20 years and has an extensive background in software sales, service, and support leadership. He joined Aderant following a very successful career at Thomson Reuters as Vice President of Sales and Customer Experience for the Large and Medium Law Firm segment. His wealth of legal industry experience and knowledge have been great assets to the executive team and instrumental to the growth at Aderant.
Cartrett is a frequent speaker at marketing and technology events around the globe. He has presented on numerous occasions at continuing legal education seminars, bar associations, and legal marketing organizations on emerging trends and best practices in law firm marketing and technology. More recently he has spoken on the changing landscape of law firm profitability and innovations in matter management.
He is a graduate of Jacksonville State University. He is married to Shannon and they have two children, Keely and Jake.
Vice President of Product Management
Kyrinis, with more than 25 years tenure at Aderant, has extensive product management and development expertise in the legal and financial industries. Responsible for the overall direction of the Aderant product portfolio, Kyrinis greatly expanded Aderant’s market offerings with numerous new products, including a new generation of business intelligence and legal process management (LPM) solutions.
As one of the original developers on the PCDocs and CMS Open solutions, Kyrinis has an intimate knowledge of the Aderant product set and the unique needs required by the legal industry. Recently, he has worked with a number of large clients in a consulting capacity in their business re-engineering programs.
Manny earned his BSc in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
Vice President of Development
With over 20 years in the legal industry, Davis has a reputation for his enthusiastic perspective on how technology can benefit legal firms. Throughout that time, Davis has maintained a focus on Aderant technology and architecture, directing nearly a dozen distributed teams developing the Aderant product suite.
Davis served as one of the original software architects for the Oracle-based professional management and accounting package, Keystone and has continued with the company since Aderant (then Solution 6) acquired Keystone in 2002. Davis has extensively worked with Oracle and Microsoft directly, incorporating the latest rich client, web, mobile, database, server and dynamics technologies into the Aderant product set.
Davis is based out of the company’s largest development center in Auckland, New Zealand.
Vice President of Client Support
Carter has more than 25 years of experience in software and IT professional services that give him the knowledge and expertise to run the global Aderant Client Support organization while driving excellence and best practices.
Most recently Carter was Director of Strategic Initiatives for Aderant. He worked with executives from all Aderant divisions including R&D, Sales, Professional Services, and Support to implement strategic initiatives to improve company profitability. He was responsible for planning the acquisition and integration of CompuLaw, Client Profiles, and CRM4Legal into Aderant’s business.
Prior to joining Aderant Carter was Director of Cloud Alliances and Business Models for the Federal Systems division of Unisys. He was responsible for developing alliances with software vendors in support of a cloud-based platform-as-a-service solution offering. Carter came to Unisys Federal Systems from Unisys’ Financial Services business unit, where he served as Practice Director for the healthcare payments market. Prior to that Carter managed all of Unisys’ service delivery personnel in the southeastern US as Director of South Region Consulting Services. Concurrent with that role, Carter was responsible for the competency development of all of Unisys’ North American delivery personnel for Microsoft-based solutions.
Carter previously held senior management positions in technology consulting and professional services at S1 and Inmar. He also spent more than 11 years at Accenture.
Carter earned a BS magna cum laude in Business Administration from the University of Alabama and an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Vice President of Global Professional Services
Shure has more than ten years of experience, most recently as an investment professional at Thoma Bravo, a Chicago-based private equity firm focused on software and services companies. Prior to Thoma Bravo, Shure worked at Cambridge Associates, an investment advisory firm. Shure has been based in locations worldwide, including Boston, Chicago and Singapore, advising institutional investors on private equity investments across North America, Europe and Asia.
Shure holds an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BA in Government and Economics from Cornell University.
Vice President Finance and Administration
Karen Ross brings more than 30 years of experience in Accounting and Finance to Aderant. Having held senior management positions within privately owned software companies and international technology corporations, coupled with a Big 4 public accounting firm background, she possesses a wealth of expertise and industry knowledge.
Ross served as Global Controller at Aderant beginning in 2012, and oversaw the financial maintenance, operations and compliance as the company progressed from private equity to public ownership. Her vision, initiative and analytical acumen ensured a seamless transition and audit in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Prior to Aderant, Ross worked as Director of Finance for Ventyx, an ABB company; Controller at New Energy Associates, a division of Siemens; and as an Auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Ross graduated with honors from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, and holds a Certified Public Accountant License.
Director of Strategic Programs
Glenn leads Aderant’s corporate development efforts and other cross-functional strategic programs. Within corporate development he focuses on all phases of the acquisition process including sourcing, initial review, due diligence, and integration. He also executes on a diverse mix of non-M&A projects involving strategic pricing, new product and market initiatives, and externally-oriented partnerships designed to improve client service and reduce costs.
Prior to joining Aderant, Glenn was an investment professional with Fulcrum Equity Partners, an Atlanta-based private equity firm focused on technology and healthcare companies. With Fulcrum he was actively involved in sourcing investment opportunities, deal structuring, due diligence, executing transactions, and portfolio management. Prior to joining Fulcrum, Glenn worked as an Investment Banking Analyst for Morgan Keegan in Atlanta.
Glenn received his B.B.A. in Finance, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia Honors Program.
